2026 Code of Conduct Report APAC Edition

The culture behind the code: Turning standards into everyday decisions
Perspectives from the Asia-Pacific Region

This regional supplement to LRN’s 2026 Code of Conduct Report expands on the global findings with deeper analysis of code activation, usability and employee experience across APAC.

The report compares regional findings with global benchmarks and highlights how code experiences vary across key APAC markets, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore. Discover how organisations can build on strong code activation to create codes that are easier to navigate, more practical in high-risk moments and more relevant to local employee needs.

Key findings point to strong activation but gaps in everyday usability:

  • Formal activation is strong: 96% of APAC employees say their organisation requires code acknowledgement, while 81% receive code training.
  • Employees still face friction: 32% say their code is too long or difficult to navigate, compared with 24% globally.
  • AI guidance remains limited: Only 6% of analysed APAC codes explicitly address AI or technology ethics.
